Kathy Mosteit and Ginny Rager spent their childhood summers with their grandparents moving cattle, working the farm and riding horses.  As adults, these two cousins now want to share the beauty of Eastern Oregon back country with you and your party. 

Kathy and Dave Mosteit, along with their family, have packed, camped and hunted in the Eagle Cap Wilderness and Blue Mountains. 

Tom and Ginny Rager have taught in schools in Eastern Oregon as well as Alaska.  As teachers, they have shared their love of the outdoors with their students. 

Together, the Mosteits and Ragers look forward to sharing down-home western hospitality with you.  Dave will be preparing his luscious Texas barbequed brisket and ribs.  Tom's sourdough is ready for high rising biscuits and pancakes.

Where Are We?

Granite is located in historical north east Oregon, nestled between the beautiful Blue Mountains and the majestic Elkhorn Scenic Byway.  This paved access location is on the edge of the John Day Wilderness, surrounded by the Wallowa Whitman and Umatilla National Forests.
